Grassroots Funding
Bicycle Nova Scotia is commitment to helping clubs and special interest groups grow youth participation and involvement in cycling across the province. Grassroots funding up to $1500 (total) is available to Clubs/individuals/groups who require financial support for their initiative. The program/initiative should be designed to encourage participation in competitive cycling or focus on special skill development of the participants. For proposals to be successful, programs should include a coaching component and demonstrate the necessity and use of a funding requested. Based the number of applicants and Bicycle Nova Scotia’s fiscal capacity, priority will be given to those initiatives with widest impact and most in need of financial support.
Applications will be accepted until May 10th of the current year. A committee will meet and review all applications and proposals., Applicants will be notified by mid-May regarding the status submissions.
