Southwest Sunday Cycle (15km)

8am (sign in) 9am start (Pre Registration is required)

Meet at the Emera Oval, Halifax Common

Join us for this leisurely 15km ride exploring Halifax’s leafy neighbourhoods and quiet streets.  This ride is perfect for people who know how to ride a bicycle but haven’t done it in a while, or more experienced riders who want to enjoy pedaling the peninsula in a large group. We will have a police escort so that we can take the lane, ride as a group, and keep stops to a minimum. The ride is open to adults and youth over 12 who are accompanied by parent/ guardian). Thanks to Southwest Properties for their sponsorship of this ride four years running!  Pre-registration strongly recommended as group size will be limited. See FAQs for more details.

Southwest Sunday Family Ride (3km)

10am (sign in) 11am start (Pre Registration is required)

Meet at Emera Oval Halifax Common

Last year’s family ride was a huge success and we are excited to offer another (very slow) 3km ride for the 6-12 set in 2016. We will have a police escort so that we can take the lane, and ride as a group. Children can ride their own bikes so long as a parent or guardian accompanies them on the ride.   Pre-registration strongly recommended as group size will be limited. See FAQs below for more details.
